このたびAMMON KYOTOでは、2023年2月17日(金)より篠原有司男、篠原乃り子、篠原アレックス空海の一家によるCutie Family's Love at the Time and after Corona展を開催いたします。
本展では、篠原有司男のエネルギッシュなパフォーマンス《ボクシング・ペインティング》によって制作された大作や昨年描かれた新作、篠原乃り子が自身の分身として描いた《Cutie》シリーズ、篠原アレックス空海による新作を中心に展示いたします。是非ご高覧賜れますと幸いです。
AMMON KYOTO is pleased to announce the exhibition ‘Cutie Family's Love at the Time and after Corona’ by the family of Ushio Shinohara, Noriko Shinohara, and Alexander Kukai Shinohara, starting February 17th, 2023.
This exhibition will focus on the large works created by Ushio Shinohara's energetic performance "Boxing Painting," new works painted last year, Noriko Shinohara's "Cutie" series; paintings of her alter ego, and new works by Alex Kukai Shinohara. We hope you will enjoy the exhibition.

篠原有司男
グローブの代わりにね、ボロ布を拳に巻きつけて、それでキャンパス代わりに、ケント紙を空地のコンクリートの壁にダーっと貼って、よし行くぜ！って墨汁をたっぷりつけて、右から左へこの野郎この野郎って感じで、ボカンボカンぶん殴りながら、墨汁の飛沫がすごいけど、左に向かって最後まで行くんだよ。
構図がどうとか戻ってこの辺に一発欲しいなとか、そういうタブロー絵画の意識は全部捨ててるからさ、とにかく、このまま行くってかないって。
Ushio Shinohara
Instead of gloves, I would wrap a rag around my fist, and instead of using a canvas, I would stick a piece of Kent paper on a blank concrete wall, and say, "Let's go!" Then, dip my fist in a lot of black ink and hit the wall from right to left like "You bastard, you bastard, you bastard!" There's a lot of ink splatter, but I have to go all the way to the left.
I've discarded all the tableau painting notions of composition and wanted to go back and throw a punch here or there, so anyway, I'm just going to go with it.
篠原乃り子
不思議な事が起きていた。世界中が Corona の為に Lock Down を始めた2020年の春先。
この Pandemic が世界中に静けさをもたらし、空は澄み、川の水も海の水も透明になり、空気は清々しくなり、 Venice の運河ではイルカが泳ぎ、白鳥までも訪れていた。いつもは人混みの New York の Times Square も Ghost Town と変わり、怖い程に人がいなくなった。
世界中の空気を呼吸したかった。でも、マスクをつけて Dumbo の公園を歩くのが精一杯。透明な光が漂う Times Square にすら地下鉄での感染が怖くて行けないままに月日が過ぎた。
そうだ、Cutie の魔法がある。Teleport で、飛ぼう。Pandemic 以前に訪れた Paris に又飛んで、Josephin Baker に変身、 Metamorphose だ!
恋人たちよ、携帯やコンピューターを使って接吻しなくても大丈夫、Cutie の Magic があれば。

Strange things were happening. It was early spring of 2020 when the whole world began a lockdown for COVID. The Pandemic brought tranquility to the world, the sky became clear, the water in the rivers and oceans became transparent, the air became fresh, dolphins swam in the canals of Venice, and even swans visited. The usually crowded Times Square in New York was transformed into a Ghost Town, and it was frighteningly empty.
I wanted to breathe the air of the world. But all I can do is wear a mask and walk through Dumbo park. Days passed without me even going to Times Square, where the bright light drifts, for fear of getting infected on the subway.
So, there is the magic of Cutie, and I will fly to Teleport, fly back to Paris, where I visited before the Pandemic, transform myself into Josephin Baker, it is Metamorphose!
